And as she rose,
everything ached, body and soul. She wondered why and felt the empty
space in her heart with princess hands. She felt him disappear as
everything else lit up. The sun was not present but it wouldn't be
for a long time, might as well get used to it
- Might just pack my
things and run to meet you. - She silently whispered in the cold
darkness of Winter.
And she meant it, for
the sound she made, like hissing, she hated it. She hated all of
herself just for thinking about him. The perfect lie she told
herself and that she would always tell. In the end maybe she loved
herself.
- You and me, we are
just so perfectly similar and so electrically opposites.
He rose much earlier
than she did but it was routine and he didn't complain. He had
breakfast, he went to work, he had lunch, he went back home. Nothing
made sense either but it wasn't his fault. The world would have to
take blame because none of them would. Even if they could.
